About the Editor

J. Michael Dixon, MD, is a Consultant Surgeon and Senior Lecturer in Surgery at Edinburgh Breast Unit. He is a fellow member of The Royal College of Surgeons of both Edinburgh and England, and Panel member of the UK National Breast Cancer Coalition. His research focuses on Aromatase Inhibitor Treatment for breast cancer. Mr. Dixon was the inaugural managing editor of The Breast and the former editor of the British Medical Journal. Besides being a reviewer for 20 cancer-related journals, he has published over 190 papers and has written or edited over 50 books.
